Hello Scouting Families,
I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe! I just wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to all who showed up to help out last night at our New Family Welcome Night! It was fun and I think it was successful! We had a lot of new faces and a lot of great questions were asked! It was awesome to see our current Scouts and to see them set a great example for those potential Scouts!
Many people have asked what this year for scouting will look like and I wanted to pass along some of our plans and our tentative calendar for Scouting year 20-21! Our plans as of now are to continue to stay ACTIVE and participate on a Den and Pack level as much as possible. Most of our meetings/events will be outside due to recommendations by the CDC and MDH. Events could and probably will need to change as we head through these uncharted waters, but please know everything we are doing is for your families safety as well as our own! To make everyone feel comfortable we ask that everyone wears a face mask at ALL events, even if they are outside. If we have events larger than 25 people, we will split into our dens or smaller groups and spread out so we can properly social distance. Hand sanitizer will always be available at all events. Again, safety is our greatest concern as well as making Scouting fun and enjoyable for all Scouts and Families!
We have our 20-21 calendar linked online! Lots of FUN upcoming events are scheduled and Nick and I are really excited for this year! Please note there are TBD times and locations for some events. All communications will be sent out via Scoutbook and posted on Facebook as soon as we figure them out. Thank you for being patient and continued support as we make this our best year yet! Take that Covid-19!
