Cub Scout Pack 301 serves the youth in Chaska and Carver Area in Minnesota as a part of Northern Star
The Cub Scout Pack 301 – Chaska & Carver had an awesome time at the Spring Campout this past weekend working on new skills and adventures, while also taking turns making (& cleaning up) meals, doing campfire skits & songs!!

Today we pay our respects to those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Thank you to Chaska American Legion-Post 57 and Chaska VFW for inviting us and to Chaska Scouts BSA Troop 174 for marching with us!

Parents are needed to run the different stations, as Den Leaders will be running one of the stations during the day already. Please be sure to sign-up to make the campout great for your Scout and others!

Why Join Cub Scouting?
- If you could give only one gift to the young people who are most important in your life, what would it be? No matter what your family situation is, it is within your power to help these children grow into people with a good feeling about themselves and a genuine concern for others. Cub Scouting can assist you in providing this greatest gift of all.
- Cub Scout-age children benefit developmentally from belonging to a small group of peers. Your child will be a part of a den, a small group of Cub Scouts in the same grade level and who are of the same gender. Through this sense of belonging, children build self-esteem and learn to get along with others.
- As a parent, you want to be assured that the groups that your child joins will teach values consistent with good citizenship, character development, personal fitness, and leadership. The values we seek to instill are found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law.
- We know that kids do not join Cub Scouting for character building. Kids join because it is FUN. Your child will learn great lessons, but they will be far too busy having fun to notice.

BSA Youth Protection Mission Statement
True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting. It is the mission of Youth Protection volunteers and professionals to work within the Boy Scouts of America to maintain a culture of Youth Protection awareness and safety at the national, regional, area, council, district, and unit levels.
Required Training
- Youth Protection training is required for all BSA registered volunteers and is a joining requirement.
- Youth Protection training must be taken every two years. If a volunteer’s Youth Protection training record is not current at the time of recharter, the volunteer will not be re-registered.
