Fall Campout will be September 25-27, 2026 at Lake Katrina Group Campsites in Baker Park 2309 Baker Park Rd,  Maple Plain, MN 55359

Parent Volunteers are needed to run the different programs during the day. Without parent volunteers, we cannot run the activities. Unless noted, there is no experience needed for any of the shifts. Sign-up coming soon

Schedule:

The Schedule for the weekend will be published as we get closer to the event. In general, Friday night is optional for attendance — we primarily set up camp and will have a campfire Friday evening

Saturday will be the main Pack and Den activities (see sample schedule). We will have a mix of different activities, time for Dens to work on advancement and Den (age) specific activities, games, and free time. We finish off the evening with a Campfire with Skits from the Scouts and Leaders followed by s’mores and woofums.

Sunday is breakfast and cleanup of camp

MEALS:

Scouts and Parents will be cooking the breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning for all families. No dinner Friday night so bring your own food to eat or eat before you arrive. All families will share in the cooking and clean-up.

A free mess kit will be provided to all new scouts who have registered consisting of a plate, bowl, cup, fork, spoon and knife along with a mesh bag to store and hang dry after cleaning. Additional mess kits will be available to purchase for adults & siblings for $10 a set.

VOLUNTEERS:

Dens (scouts + parents) will be assigned responsibility for cooking and cleaning up meals. Parents — please plan on assisting your Scout(s) in their responsibilities for meal prep or cleanup

Who Attends? Cub Scouts should plan on attending with their parent/guardian. Any member of that family (sisters/brothers for example) can attend with the family. Due to our Safeguarding Youth rules, adults who are not the parent or guardian of the Cub Scout cannot attend unless they are registered leaders with Pack 301.

What not to Bring: Neighbors, family friends (unless interested in joining Cub Scouts)

Firearms, sheath knives, alcohol, tobacco products (if you need to smoke please do so out of sight), personal electronics (e.g., cell phones, iPods, Nintendo DS, etc) that may distract from camping experience (adult use in tent is OK)
